Charlotte Ronson’s Fall 2013 collection speaks to the downtown girl while also appealing to those who live in all parts of the city. From funky to feminine to fierce and fresh, Charlotte had something for every gal.
Color was the name of the game as there were vivid reds, deep purples, navy blue, and a fun use of hunter green in a kaleidoscope floral pattern. Leather is a huge trend for Fall 2013 and Charlotte Ronson’s presentation was no exception. There were hunter green leather tea dresses, leather pencil skirts, leather pegged pants and leather member’s jackets. Lace was used in an interesting way in this collection. Charlotte showed black lattice lace over the top portion of a midnight crepe jumpsuit. There were several two piece looks that gave a nice node to the 90’s.
Fabric Blocking was used in a great way with fabric next to black lattice lace and lots of leather with herringbone. There were also great menswear inspired pieces like heritage plaid moto jackets, leather member’s jackets, and a St. John’s jacquard smoking jacket and cigarette pant.
Matching Bags accompanied many of the outfits including a kaleidoscope floral mini backpack, malbec combo doctor’s bag and a charcoal herringbone duffle.
