Austin Fashion Week Favorites: Thursdays RUNWAYS & Marketplace Fashion Show

As Austin Fashion Week draws near its end the fashion strutting down the catwalk at Thursday nights Runways and marketplace was nothing short of spectacular. An array of looks from simple and clean structure to whimsical elegance had enchanted the audience like a fourth of July evening. Needless to say you could not look away at the brilliance of talent that each designer had sewn into every single garment.  A few trends that transcend across collections are the use of textures such as lace, feathered, and fringed. Fabrics appear soft, light weight and breathable. As for color most of the garments were adorned in classic neutrals the monotony was broken up by floral patterns and the go to pop of color, fire engine red that raises your temperature just a tad.

Here is a look at some personal favorites picked from last night's show.

G.I.N.A by Gian Padilla Suarez presented a collection brings us back to the beauty of basics and the use of her structured lines make her garments almost appear dream like yet classical and timeless.

Adrienne Yunger brings something exciting and refreshing into the world of bridal fashion. Her exceptional designs have transformed the ordinary wedding gown into the right touch of drama, edge, or elegance that a bride desires on her special day.

Kucoon by Andrea Spratt is a collection that proves it is possible to be simple, sexy and dare we say comfortable all in one seamless ensemble.  In the straightforward nature of her designs exists an element of luxury and sophistication that says just enough without saying too much.
