We talk all the time about how going after your purpose can be hard and seem so big. But, what about the moment when you realize you have to change strategies? We say all the time at Created Woman that your purpose will never change, but your strategy will constantly change.

So, here’s what I’m wondering; does changing strategies excite, scare or challenge you? Maybe, knowing you can change strategies comes as a great relief! For others finding out your purpose was hard enough and then to suddenly have to change strategies can be so uncomfortable. It's almost as if you are starting all over again

But, I simply think that a change in strategy is understanding that with different seasons of life, come different ways of walking out my purpose. It’s an ebb and flow, and I believe God gives us so much grace when we are trying to get into a new rhythm of life; a new rhythm of walking with Him in a new season.

So, here’s my challenge to all of us today: If you are stuck in a season – maybe even for years – maybe God is wanting to show you a new HOW. And maybe, God wants us to remember our WHY more than the HOW, because we tend to cling onto the one idea and not let go. We get stuck in thinking; ‘This is the way it’s supposed to be,’ or ‘ This is the way I thought it was going to be,’ only to realize that nothing is working and we are stuck – for way too long! Being stuck is no fun and can bring resentment and send us to places in our mind we never wanted to go. I’ve been there – it sucks!

We love the scripture in Isaiah that says 'I am doing a new thing,' but the new thing comes from doing something new. That’s why it’s important to remember that your purpose may never change, but your strategy will constantly change.

Friend, more than anything you hear or read today, I would love for you to embrace the idea that you have permission to change strategies. Don’t get stuck. Remember your WHY more than the HOW and rock your purpose in every season of life - even this new season!
