2015 Fall Makeup Trends

Goodbye Summer, hello Fall! With a new season comes new fashion, and most importantly new makeup trends we can all incorporate into our daily beauty routine for a fun and exciting new look!  Fall makeup trends make their debut early in the year before the leaves have a chance to change color!  With the celebration of it actually being Fall, I have listed my Top 3 makeup trends to tryout this season.  And yes, these trends can even work for the stay-at-home mom like me, who enjoys from time to time looking polished from head to toe without trying too hard.  

TREND #1: BERRY LIP

Berry is the perfect hue for lips this Fall. It's a great shift from Summer nude glossy lips, and it is quite versatile in how it can be worn.  Bright and berry lips are best worn with minimal makeup for a very tres chic look! If you prefer to show off your lips with an intense almost vamp like pout then a deep blackberry lip would be the color to wear. Either way, continue to keep the rest of the makeup soft and matte.   You can also try this fresh new berry color on your nails as a great alternative to a new lip color if that is more your style. 

 

TREND #2: FLUSHED CHEEKS

To imitate that winter flush, use a cream blush or stain in a berry or rose shade and apply with fingertips. You can even use that new berry lipstick you will be trying this Fall to double as a blush shade. Win win on the pocketbook and time! Just remember to blend very well when wearing a cream type product.  If your skin is prone to oiliness on the cheeks, then you can opt for a powder blush instead. 

TREND #3: METALLIC EYES

Metallic eyelids are all the rage this season.  To wear this trend, select earth tone shades like bronze, gold, or olive for your eyelid. Then sweep on the top lid and lower lash line with a soft shadow brush. For that popular no fuss makeup approach, skip the eyeliner and give the lashes an extra coat or two.  This look is fabulously effortless and time wise!
