God, Here Are My Dreams
It’s funny how after completing a volunteer application with Created Woman, I second guessed my dreams. I don’t know if you think about your dreams on a regular basis, but I sure do. One of them is to be a writer and New York Times best-selling published author. After reflecting on this dream after submitting my CW application, I got nervous like “Oh God, can I do this, is this possible for me”?
I don’t know if you’ve ever felt like your dreams were too big to complete, but please know, sweet woman, that God says “Yes, yes you can achieve all your dreams and more!”
I think the first step to reaching your God-sized dreams is to let them go - in the sense of giving them to God. He knows you and your dreams because He’s the one who created you and gave you your gifts, strengths, and purpose.
After pouring out your heart and releasing your dreams to Him, asking for His guidance would be helpful. Not sure how God interacts with you but, with me, He gives bit by bit, one piece of the puzzle at a time. Naturally a planner, this used to bother me by not knowing what the next couple of life steps were going to be. It takes trust and faith to give God your dreams that you’ve had all or most of your life. But once you do, He can lead you to the next step in your life book that He has written for you.
Any dream no matter how small or big it may seem, please know that God is a God of miracles and has so much more in store for you. Once God gives you a nudge of where He would like you to go or a step He would like to you to take, go, do, take action. Along the way, seek His guidance and ask Him for anything you need to make your God-sized dream a reality.
