Lost. Where do I go from here?
Lost. It’s a terrible feeling when you don’t know where you’re going. The scenery is unfamiliar as the roads seem to cave in on you and there’s no gas station in sight. You pick up your phone to look at maps or call a friend but there’s no signal available. You’re stuck! Do you turn around and go back the same way you came or power forward hoping for a road sign that will point you in the right direction. Or maybe, just maybe, your phone will finally get a signal and rescue you to freedom!
Lost. Where do I go from here?
It’s a question we’ve all asked ourselves at different times in our lives. We’ve turned down a wrong road in life whether by choice or the circumstances that surround us and found ourselves on a road that’s unfamiliar leading us to wonder, “Where do I go from here?”
Panic sets in.
These past few months I’ve been marinating on the word Restoration and praying for God to restore things in my life and in the lives of those around me. I’ve been quietly praying and sometimes loudly proclaiming the scripture in Jeremiah:
“But now take another look. I’m going to give this city a thorough renovation, working a true healing inside and out. I’m going to show them life whole, life brimming with blessings. I’ll restore everything that was lost to Judah and Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 33:6 The Message
As I’ve prayed, I thought hard about the word restoration.
Restoration: The act of restoring - healing - bring to health - recovery - repair.
I really believe God wants to repair and restore the things in our lives that are lost. Whether they are physical, spiritual, relational, and yes, even those dreams that were lost. But the key word for me in restoration is REST.
Rest:
- In His presence
- In His promises
- In letting go of the past
Just rest and let go. As you rest, you will surrender and as you surrender what you are trying to control, God begins to work.
But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares the LORD, 'because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.'
Jeremiah 30:17
[title subtitle="Created Woman’s Study Guide"][/title]
2015 has brought CW on a new journey that we are so excited about! Our vision has always been to equip and empower women to be who they are created to be inside and out and this year, we are helping women do that in a practical, tangible way.
Coming in the fall, women around the world will explore six principles through Created Woman’s new workbook that will ignite their purpose leaving a legacy in their families, communities, and businesses.
Women will:
- Explore our six core principles: Dreams ~ Healing ~ Identity ~ Health ~Purpose ~ Inside Out
- Discover and embrace their true identity in Christ through a journey of healing, ultimately revealing God’s purpose and plan for their life.
- Inner work always produces outer results. Study guide will conclude with an Inside/Out chapter that will guide women in identifying their personal style based on body shape and taste.
Join us in releasing women into their destiny during our summer campaign and ways you can be a part launching next week: She Designed Her Dream & Launched A Legacy.
Lost dreams will be found. Lost purpose will be fulfilled. Lives will be changed. Legacies will remain.
