Wake Up Mama
Yes girl, seriously, wake up! You don’t necessarily have to be an actual mother to be a mama, I believe each woman is a mama. A mama of her home, a mama of her business, a mama to her peers, and a mama to the community.
My recent conversations with several women from different walks of life seems to have a common pattern. They usually start like this, “So how have you been?” and ends with women feeling completely busy and occupied with their lives. This is neither a good nor bad thing, it is simply what it is. Women these days carry more in their day-to-day than ever before.
At the June Created Woman Gather Her event in Austin, Texas. I had several conversations with different women with a few common trends: Jesus, having full lives and full schedules, and actively pursuing their dreams.
Even with a full schedule and lots to do in the regular Monday-Friday schedule, mama please know that God wants only the best for you. He seeks to know you more and seeks to enlarge your territory more than you can imagine. As his daughter, he wants you to live out your dreams for his honor and glory.
I’m not here to tell you what your specific dream but to remind you that God’s purpose for all believer’s is to get to heaven and guide others there as well and to love. As far as your specific dream, ask God when you are ready to know what that is. He will send signs and confirmation through others to confirm what your dream is.
A good place to start to ask God to reveal your dreams to you is by praying and fasting. Get some alone time with God, ask him for answers, enjoy his company while praising and worshiping him. He loves and looks forward to spending time with you.
Wherever you are on pursuing your dreams, know that God, and CW are rooting for you!
Prayer
Dear Lord,
Be with this dream girl. Reveal her purpose and dreams you gave her so she can live them out. Give her the right people and your favor in this season of her life. Have others confirm her dreams to her for your honor and your glory. Met any of her needs and her family and friends needs
