This time of year I love to check out  new cuts/colors. Yesterday I came across the most amazing hairstyle I’ve ever seen!!! I had the opportunity to check out a St. Baldrick’s event in Portland, OR. There hundreds of participants were shaving their heads to raise funds  for childhood cancer research. Since 2000, St. Baldrick’s has raised over $69 million through shaving heads in over 24 countries! One of the nurses in a local hospital’s children’s cancer unit shaved her head while one of her little patients watched with a smile on her face, “look what she’s doing for me!” Father’s shaved their heads for daughters, husband and wife teams as well as teenagers with mohawks all gave up their locks to become heroes! I think this may be my new favorite hairstyle of all.
