Heal yo’self before you wreck yo’self

In the book of Luke Chapter 8 - there is a story about a sick woman. She had been bleeding for 12 years! No one else or no remedy could heal her. She went out into the crowd where Jesus was and barely touched the hem of his garment. Jesus immediately felt some of His power be released and He knew someone touched him. He asked His disciples who touched Him. Peter replied that it must have been someone passing by and they pressed on Jesus. Then the women who previously suffered from bleeding fell at Jesus’ feet and proclaimed that it was her who touched Him and instantly was healed.

Then He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” (Luke 8:48 NIV)

My goodness! Look at God. He is a merciful God and healer.

God can and will heal anyone who goes to Him for healing. Just as He joyfully healed the sick, bleeding woman, He, my sweet sister, can heal you too. Or anyone you or I may know who would like to be healed.

Any aliment whether physical (migraines, backaches, leg aches, carpal tunnel, fibromyalgia, cancer), mental (depression, anxiety), or spiritual (strongholds) He can heal. The healing time may or may not be immediate like the bleeding woman, but it will be in God’s time.

It may be immediate healing or a process. Either way when we believers stay connected to Him, He will guide us to appropriate healing treatments. Counseling, healthier lifestyle, prayer, fasting, support groups, professionals, a supportive tribe, whatever you need to heal. Trust and believe that God will lead you on the path to healing.

In pursuit of healing and when you or a loved one are healed, ask God to show you how to keep the healing and wholeness. Some examples are by praying, fasting, renewing the mind, applying the word, and staying at the feet of Jesus.

Healing is yours, mine, and anyone else who would like it. Our God, Jehovah-Rapha “the Lord who heals” is ready to heal his people!

Prayer

Dear Lord,

I pray that you wrap your daughter in your precious arms. Heal her completely from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet to everything in between. Heal any physical, mental, or spiritual aliments. Make her brand new. Help her to renew her mind daily in your word. Surround her with a community of believers that will exemplify your love and that will cover her in prayer and support her throughout her life. Be with her each day. Put her in remembrance of the good things you have done in her life. Fill her with your gratitude, joy, love, and peace. Thank you so much for her complete healing and transformation.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

CREATED WOMAN AGUST LINE UP: HEALING/SELF-CARE

Self-care is not selfish!

Self-care most often requires us to take steps towards understanding our hurts, disappointments, griefs, or life transitions. It’s not selfish, it’s a necessity. For you and the ones who are around you.

August theme is all about self-care. Yes, it might actually be called ‘Healing’ but aren’t they the same?

We believe we cannot be our best self unless we embrace the beauty of God’s healing power. By walking through and in His grace, we experience healing, strength, peace and restoration ultimately bringing life to others in our family and community.

Don’t walk alone, your tribe is right here and we want to walk beside you.

Isaiah 43:2 (NIV):When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
