Planes, Trains & Automobiles: What's do they have to do with Fashion?

The message of empowering women to be who they are created to be, inside-out, has never been as apparent as it was this past Tuesday. As if a photo shoot alone is not exciting enough, our 3rd quarter issue shoot is full of surprises. From landing strips to high fashion designs, here is a behind the scenes look at all of the fun!

The early morning started with the smell of coffee in the air and our models arriving and being quickly set up for hair and makeup. Fashionably Austin’s very own Cheryl Bemis and Adored Austin blogger Indiana Adams were two of our lovely back to basics models. Models Callisto Griffith, AJ Knight, and Latrese Smith were our high fashion models. After our amazing beauty team did their magic, the models were taken to one of the biggest highlights of the shoot. The location for our shoot was Breakaway Park, a highly successful airstrip surrounded by personal aircraft hangars and aircrafts. All of our models rocked the photo shoot posing with an 80’s style bonanza plane!

Only one thing could compare to this incredible plane…the outfits! Pieces from S.T.E.F, Grace & Lace, Maya Star, Hemline, and Luxe Apothetique were all modeled. Designer Stephanie Montes of the clothing line S.T.E.F even made an appearance on set.

The photo shoot was fabulous to say the least, and we can’t wait for everyone to see the results. SO mark your calendars because the new issue launches July 8th!
